What We Tackle

Senior Living Transitions & Moving Help

Two people are smiling and lifting a yellow armchair together in a living room, while an older woman sits on another chair nearby, watching them. A walker is visible next to the fireplace.

Make moving day feel lighter.

Transitions are emotional. They can also be physically demanding. Whether you’re helping a loved one downsize, moving into a new apartment, or shifting from Independent Living to Assisted Living, a Couple More Guys™ can help make the process easier, faster, and safer. Our two-person insured crews handle the heavy lifting and careful maneuvering, so families and residents can focus on the bigger moments, not the biggest boxes.

Our Senior Living Transition Services

Compassion meets capability. We can help with the heavy, awkward, and time-sensitive parts of a move including:

  •  Moving furniture and boxes into or out of senior living communities
  • In-community transitions between apartments, floors, or levels of care
  • Downsizing help: moving items to storage, staging “keep vs. donate,” and hauling donations away
  • Loading/unloading pods, trailers, small trucks, or family vehicles (great when you’ve got the truck, but need the hands)
  • Rearranging furniture to improve safety, flow, and comfort in a new space
  • Furniture assembly for new rooms, refreshes, or smaller-space living

Not a traditional moving company

and that’s often a good thing.

Couple More Guys™ specializes in the muscle, care, and precision behind a smooth senior move, whether it’s a first-time downsizing or a transition within a community’s continuum of care. We’re not a traditional full-service long-distance moving company, but we do offer a medium-sized box truck for smaller local moves and regularly support families and senior living teams who need careful, flexible help.

Whether you’re using our box truck for a smaller local move, renting a U-Haul, loading a portable storage container, borrowing a truck, or simply moving items within the same building, our insured two-person crews can handle the careful heavy lifting. We’re especially helpful with hallways, elevators, tight turns, and all the “this needs to be moved gently and placed just right” moments.

For certain projects, we may also use a trailer for lighter loads, donation runs, and other small transport needs.

Many families find this approach more flexible and cost-effective. We can help with transportation for smaller local moves or step in as labor support when transportation is already arranged. Either way, we focus on safe, efficient loading, unloading, and in-home placement that helps move day feel calmer. Not sure if your project is a fit? Reach out. We’re always happy to talk it through, even if that means recommending a trusted full-service mover when needed.
